This is the opposite end of “Working” but working none the less. A study in attention and
nostalgia right down to the blue overalls. Running is a term used to describe what an Engineer
does with a freight train/locomotive. In America we “Run” trains, only elsewhere do they
“drive” them. To say to an American Engineer that he is driving the train is to grate on a very
sensitive nerve.
