I love mixing abstract elements with detailed realistic objects as the case here. The tree line

frames the beautiful yellow of the “Chief” while it is landing or is it taking off? The splatters

seem to indicate some motion and maybe wet grass. I like that, a little mystery to pique interest.

Aeronca’s are amongst my favorite airplanes and others are in the works.
